Working to End Housing Instability, Every Day
Hub North is the next iteration of Hub Studios, a results-driven initiative of the Hospitality Hub of Memphis. This project site, located in the Manassas neighborhood of North Memphis, will operate as an affordable housing development that serves as a natural transition for individuals who have completed the Hub’s programming at its main campus and are prepared for reintegration into the Memphis community. This community will offer tenants the opportunity to develop a rental history through individual leases and tenant responsibilities in a service-enriched environment. Hub North will offer voluntary supportive services, including workforce development training and rental assistance, in a beautiful gated campus which will be augmented with landscaping, gardens, play and gathering spaces.
Barrier-free • Human-centric • Trauma-informed

Designed for Healing
In partnership with The Hospitality Hub of Memphis, Hub North will offer a human-focused, affordable housing community to the greater Memphis region. As part of its mission, Hub North will offer voluntary case management and coordinated support services to all qualified tenants.
By treating trauma as a source of destabilizing behaviors, the Hub North team will assist in interrupting the cycle and restoring families to autonomous choice and stable housing. Additionally, qualified tenants will receive rental assistance, up to 100% of their rent. Through the City of Memphis and other partnerships, tenants will receive meals, access on-site laundry, voluntary healthcare and mental healthcare coordination, and voluntary educational and workforce supportive services.
60 independent dwelling units, called Hub Cottages, will nestle amongst gardens, play space, and community buildings. With bunkbeds, a kitchenette, a bathroom and a separate space for a caregiver, each Hub Cottage provides privacy and connectivity for individuals and families of all types.
The Hub North cottages will be complemented by three community amenity buildings that will provide space for case management, workforce development programming, educational support for children, benefits enrollment, health and behavioral health coordination, and family-centered gathering space. The Hospitality Hub’s service model emphasizes individualized support and strong coordination with community partners across Memphis. By integrating housing with coordinated services, Hub North is designed to strengthen well-being, support economic mobility, and promote long-term housing success without compromising the normalcy and dignity of residential life.
